Aranyani was born in Texas and then moved to California where she spent most of her childhood years until college. Her mother’s side of the family instilled the gardening “bug” early, learning from her mother and grandfather who was a master Gardener in England. She graduated with a Bachelors of Social Sciences, and spent over a decade in the nonprofit industry before finally returning to her roots of landscaping in 2020.

Aranyani moved to North Carolina in late 2020 to work on her own 18 acre landscaping project. With help, she was able to transform raw woods into a nature camping sanctuary.

Aranyani & David met in 2022 and have since been living and working together as land-tenders ever since. First they planted fields of herbs in North Carolina, then moved on to being caretakers of large properties in the Appalachian mountains before journeying west to start their own landscaping business in Santa Fe NM.
